Filmed at Wayne’s skate park, Weezy is in pure form, delivering high-octane raps at a frenetic pace. “I want my baby pictures on $100 bill/My lazy bit-hes teach my crazy bit-hes how to chill,” he quips. With his styrofoam cup in hand, he later speeds up his flow on the hypnotic beat, before Jay Jones enters with a punchy verse of his own. Shortly after, the beat switches up and Gudda Gudda and Wayne begin to trade bars over the ominous soundscape.
Two weeks ago, Wayne wrapped up his first season of Young Money Radio with an interview with Birdman. The two spoke about possibly doing a sequel to their 2006 collaborative album Like Father Like Son. “I want it to be my farewell thing,” Birdman told Wayne during their chat. Their first effort was met with commercial success and garnered hits such as “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” and “Leather So Soft.”
“Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart of making this biggest debut first season of any podcast or radio show EVER,” wrote a grateful Wayne on Instagram.
